Mobile vs Landline vs VoIP
All the big telcos are battling for the small business market for telephone systems. They are all committed to make big gains in 2011. They can’t all be right – so lets look at how the battle is shaping up.
The mobile operators are focusing on mobile business systems:
- Vodafone with One Net
- Everything Everywhere, the organisation formed by Orange and T-Mobile with Pocket Landline
- O2 with their O2 Business
The landline providers are looking at landline PBX systems:
- Talk Talk with Opal
- BT with their independent franchisees BT local business
- Virgin Media having finally killed the brands NTL Telewest are competing under the name of Virgin Media Business
You will notice Cable and Wireless Worldwide aren't listed that is because uniquely they don't focus on the SME market. Maybe John Pluthero knows something?
The hosted VoIP providers such as Cloudnet have a technically superior disruptive technology in Hosted VoIP.
Hosted VoIP gives customers a free telephone system with outstanding features including a quality of voice calls which the mobile providers simply can’t match. The system also gives users a feature rich environment where they can make changes on demand. The systems are open and easy to set up and use. They simply save customers time and money whilst making them look more professional.
Lets compare the systems:
